The building project

The academy has been proposed for the Cricklefields site between the Ilford High Road and Green Lane.

The new academy buildings will be high quality, well-designed and arranged to promote calm and ordered learning.  We hope that the academy will represent the best of public building in Redbridge and inspire local people as well as its students.  It will provide inviting and well-equipped classrooms and excellent new facilities. Specialist facilities, such as music and drama spaces, an ICT suite and a full size sports hall, will be available for community use outside school hours.

ARK Schools has been working closely with Redbridge Council to ensure that the design for the academy responds to the education vision, contributes to high school standards and achieves high environmental standards. The outline scheme has received outline planning permission and we are now moving into the detailed design stage of the project.

We are particularly keen to hear your views on the facilities the academy should offer, both to students and the local community - please contact us here.
