The core curriculum

Our curriculum is designed to allow each student to reach or exceed the expected level at their age in English and mathematics as quickly as possible.

By varying the amount of time each child spends learning English and mathematics according to their need, all students can access the whole curriculum. If your child is more able and accomplished, they will benefit from an accelerated pace and have access to a wide range of qualifications.

If your child needs more help in literacy or numeracy, they will benefit from spending more time in smaller groups that focus on these core skills. With this individualised approach, all students are more likely to achieve and exceed national standards in external examinations.
