Burlington Danes Academy

As Principal of Burlington Danes Academy I would like to welcome you to our website.

These are exciting times at Burlington Danes. Student achievement is now in line with the national average (in August 2008 44% of our students gained 5 A*-C grades in their GCSEs, including English and Maths) and we expect a significant improvement on this in 2009. This term Ed Balls, Secretary of State, opened our Stanley Fink building (see pictures below) providing our students with state of the art facilities for English, Maths, Science and Drama. In September 2009 we will expand to include a Sixth Form, offering a wide range of Academic and Vocational courses.
