London Mayor Boris Johnson opens ARK Schools Table Tennis Tournament.

London mayor, Boris Johnson, opened the first ARK wide table tennis tournament in July 2010 by playing a challenge match against Indepnedept Journalist and novelist, Howard Jacobson. Teams from six ARK academies  played in the tournament which featured exhibition matches by England national junior players.

ONE VOICE, ARK Schools Music Gala plays to full house

ARK's eight academies celebrated and demonstrated their musical skills at the second annual ONE VOICE Music Gala and Fringe Festival on 30 June at 6pm. 

The packed programme, attended by more than 800 parents and friends, included a fringe drama festival with acts from pupils of 11 - 17 and singing and playing in the main concert by pupils from 7 - 17.  Conducted by the renowned conductor, David Lawrence the concert programme included

The ONE VOICE massed choir

The ARK Scholarship Choir, conducted by Suzi Digby OBE

and many individual singers, musicians, dancers and other performers.

ARK's music programme gives every pupil the chance to become a musician or to make music part of their lives.
