ARK Schools runs six academies in London and a further two in Birmingham and Portsmouth
Burlington Danes Academy, Hammersmith and Fulham
Replaced the existing Burlington Danes Church of England School in September 2006. This is a six-form entry secondary academy with a sixth form which opened in 2009.
King Solomon Academy, Westminster
King Solomon Academy is a new two-form entry all through academy for 3 to 18 year old. It opened its primary school in September 2007 and its secondary school in September 2009. In December 2009 it was rated as an outstanding school by Ofsted.
Walworth Academy, Southwark
Opened in September 2007, replacing the previous Walworth School. This is a six-form entry secondary academy which will open its sixth form in September 2010.
Globe Academy, Southwark
Globe opened in September 2008 replacing existing primary and secondary schools. It is an all-through academy, for 3-18 year olds, with a sixth form opening in 2011.
Evelyn Grace Academy, Lambeth
Evelyn Grace is a new secondary academy which opened in September 2008. The academy moves into its permanent buildings, designed by world-renowned architect Zaha Hadid, on Shakespeare Road, Brixton in September 2010.
Ark Academy, Brent
Ark is a new all-through academy for 3-18 year olds. It opened its primary school in September 2008 and will open its secondary school in September 2010.
St Alban's Academy, Birmingham
St Alban's Academy in Birmingham opened in September 2009 replacing St Alban's CE Specialist Engineering College. Its new buildings will be completed for September 2012, when it will open a sixth form.
Charter Academy, Portsmouth
Charter Academy opened in September 2009 replacing St Luke's CE School. It will have a full modernisation programme including the provision of new buildings, beginning in January 2012.
