ARK Schools expects to be running 18 - 20 academies in 2013 including an increasing number of primary schools.The following academies are currently in development: Isaac Newton Academy, Redbridge Isaac Newton Academy in Ilford will open in September 2012. It will be a six form entry school for 11-18 year olds. ARK Schools is seeking support for a proposal to open a primary phase as part of the academy. Bolingbroke Academy, Wandsworth ARK Kings Academy, Birmingham In September 2012 ARK Kings Academy will open replacing Kings Norton High School. It will be a four form entry academy with a sixth form proposed to open in 2017. Elliott School, Wandsworth The governing body has agreed that Elliott School in Wandsworth will become ARK Putney Academy in September 2012. Tindal Junior and Infant School, Birmingham ARK Schools is currently consulting on the proposal that Tindal Junior and Infant School open as a two form entry ARK academy in September 2012. Primrose Hill Community School, Birmingham ARK Schools is currently consulting on the proposal that Primrose Hill Community School open as a two form entry ARK academy in September 2012. Bentworth Primary School, Hammersmith The governors of Bentworth Primary School have agreed a proposal to open as a new ARK academy in September 2012.
